Entecavir is a guanine nucleoside analog, which has an inhibitory effect on hepatitis B virus (HBV) polymerase. At present, it is mainly used for antiviral therapy of hepatitis B. It has the characteristics of fast onset, strong resistance to hepatitis B virus, and low resistance. It is the first choice for antiviral therapy for patients with chronic hepatitis B.
